Donations

A HUGE THANK YOU

The Trustees, Management and all the volunteers associated with the Whitchurch Foodbank wish to thank all those who have made donations. The level of financial support is so encouraging. Whether the amount is small or large it is precious to us as we support those in crisis. The financial support we receive enables us to purchase the food needed to replenish our stocks. During lockdown we fed almost 5900 people and donations enable us to continue with our operation.

Our thanks also go to all the individuals who made donations – many of whom wish to remain anonymous. However, we wish to record our thanks to the following organisations in order that their clients and members can see the charitable support they have provided.

Last Christmas three shops in Whitchurch – Fill Your Boots, Moo & Boom and Homefolk, offered a £100 hamper,
 and raised a staggering £650. A huge thank-you
from the Foodbank to them and all who supported this raffle.

We also much appreciate the support and encouragement from Ali and her team at
The Old Factory Shop who have helped us to help the community we support by
establishing a collection bin for donations to the Foodbank.

In December 2023, Drinks Stop donated a pallet load of Sparkling Ribena for us to issue to the families we suport through our Christmas Parcels Project.
Our sincere thanks go to the management of Drinks Stop.
